We are seeking a highly skilled International Logistics Coordinator to join our expanding team. If you are passionate about global logistics and want to be part of a dynamic and innovative company, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Ocean Export Door-to-Port and Door-to-Door shipments internationally.
- Manage container pickup and delivery for ocean import freight.
- Collaborate with truckers and provide ad-hoc shipment quotes when necessary.
- Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
- Communicate with ocean carriers and third-party logistics providers to arrange bookings.
- Oversee Export Filing (AES) and ISF documentation for compliance.
- Process export/import shipping documentation and ensure timely clearance of freight.
- Monitor, process, and post billings in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in global freight forwarding with strong expertise in ocean freight.
- Solid understanding of NVOCC operations and FMC compliance.
- Experience working with TMS platforms such as Cargowise or Magaya is a plus.
- Strong accountability and ability to report work progress effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors, customers, and coworkers.
- Analytical mindset to investigate and resolve logistics issues.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in documentation and tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and dedication to completing projects efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with shipping lines, agents, and NVOCCs.
- Knowledge of USA, EU and China import/export regulations is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
